In our short film project focused on lighting and camera work, our main objective was to explore various camera angles and lighting techniques. We aimed to gain firsthand experience of how films are actually shot and how all departments work together in harmony. This included insights into direction, costumes, art, lighting, editing, and sound. We gained a deeper understanding of how each department contributes to the filmmaking process.

To understand Paper-roll as sustainable material and explore its use in interior, product, furniture & Set design.

The workshop on paper-roll material provided design students with an innovative platform to explore sustainable design, resulting in a diverse range of creative models, including lamps, seating, and artifacts. It fostered hands-on experimentation, allowing students to develop practical skills while pushing the boundaries of paper as a versatile design medium.

Tie & Dye workshop
14th 15th & 16th November 2024

Collaborative Workshop of B.Des and B.Arch students to learn To introduce students with the basic techniques of tie & dye so that they can develop and explore it further. To acquaint students to create unique fabric designs through different methods of folding and tying.Creating new patterns using a combination of folding, tying, and dyeing techniques.


State, Personality & Heritage – Canvas Painting

24th & 31st October 2024

 The canvas painting assignment under the subject Humanities, focusing on the theme “State, Personality & Heritage” was successfully conducted with active participation from all students. Each student selected an Indian state of their choice, researched notable personalities from that region, and creatively integrated elements of the state’s cultural and historical heritage into their artwork. Students demonstrated strong engagement and creativity throughout the process. The assignment allowed them to explore diverse aspects of Indian culture, from folk traditions and architecture to iconic figures in politics, art, and social reform. The resulting paintings were rich in detail and showcased a variety of artistic approaches.
