ANNUAL ACADEMIC EXHIBITION 2022-23

The Annual Academic Exhibition – ‘EXPLICO’ for the academic year 2022-2023 was held on 30th September 2022. Senior renowned architect from Pune, Ar. Ravi Gadre inaugurated the function. The exhibition provided a platform for students to exhibit their art, design and academic work developed throughout the year under various subject curriculum and co-curriculum. The work from first to final year from Architecture was showcased innovatively in the form of models, installations, and technical drawings. Unique layouts, Self made designs from natural materials like Bamboo and Jute added colour to the exhibition. Ar. Ravi Gadre appreciated the work exhibited by the students. He emphasized and encouraged students to do sketching.

ANNUAL ACADEMIC EXHIBITION 2021-22

‘EXPLICO’, the Annual Academic Exhibition for the academic year 2021-22 began with enthusiasm after a break of 2 years due to Covid-19 Pandemic. The exhibition was inaugurated on 5^th of April 2022. The exhibition provided a platform for students to exhibit their art, design and academic work developed throughout the year under various subject curriculum and co-curriculum. The work from first to final year from Architecture was showcased innovatively in the form of models, installations and technical drawings. The work was visited and appreciated by eminent Professionals from the city and also by the parents. Junior students learnt a lot from the activity since their initial learning was conducted online. Having a physical look at the works of seniors helped juniors to understand the quality of work and ways to represent them.

‘EXPLICO’, the Annual Academic Exhibition for the academic year 2018-19 was inaugurated by renowned history researcher Mr. Girish Takale on 2nd January 2019. The exhibition provided a platform for students to exhibit their art, design and academic work developed throughout the year under various subject curriculum and co-curriculum. The work from first to final year from Architecture and B. Des was showcased innovatively in the form of models, installations and technical drawings. The activity also made students aware of their interdisciplinary fields like architecture, furniture design, product design, set design and interior design. Students were felicitated on the occasion with Academic Excellence Awards to encourage the competitive spirit. The work was visited and appreciated by honorable Sirchitnis madam Smt. Nilimatai Pawar, education officer Dr. Nanasaheb Patil, eminent Professionals from the city and also by the parents.

ANNUAL ACADEMIC EXHIBITION 2017-18

The Annual Academic Exhibition for the academic year 2017-18 was organized in the institute by B.Arch and B.des students between 8^th to 10^th February 2018. Exhibits in the form of models, installations and technical drawing sheets prepared by the students under the various subject curriculums and extracurricular activities were showcased to encourage the creativity in the students.It also made them aware of the interdisciplinary fields of architecture, furniture design, product design, set design and interior design. The exhibition was inaugurated by NIMA president Mr. Mangesh Patankar. Every year, the academic exhibition is held on a theme. Students design the layout of the exhibition and exhibition panels. The student’s council takes lead in organising everything. A team of faculty is involved to monitor the work. They put up the entire exhibition; decorate the entire college in the theme. The exhibition is visited by many citizens, people from fraternity and parents during the three days.

Eminent painting artists and brothers Prafulla Sawant and Rajesh Sawant had graced the occasion of inauguration our annual academic exhibition. They have won several national and international awards and scholarship. They have been invited to conduct many workshops at art and design institute. Their watercolour paintings are famous across the world. The acclaimed artists of international fame appreciated the works of students and interacted with them. They shared their experiences and taught them a few art ethics. Every year, the academic exhibition is held on a theme. Students design the layout of exhibition and exhibition panels. The student’s council takes lead in organising everything. A team of faculty is involved to monitor the work. They put up the entire exhibition; decorate the entire college in the theme. The exhibition is visited by many citizens, people from fraternity and parents during the three days.

“Aavartak” this year’s exhibition was showcased some brilliant academic works. Students designed the layout of the exhibition as well as exhibition panels. The student’s council took lead in organising everything. A team of faculty is involved to monitor the work. Student’s council puts up the entire exhibition; decorate the entire college in the theme. This year the exhibition was inaugurated by the Guest of Honour – Hon. Municipal commissioner And visionary of Smart City, Nashik Dr. Praveen Gedam. Student’s enthusiastically explained their projects and ideas to Gedam sir. He appreciated student’s work and urged them to participate in various projects under smart city The exhibition is visited by many citizens, people from fraternity and parents during the three days.

This year the theme was the use of recycled and waste material. Students designed the layout of the exhibition as well as exhibition panels. The student’s council takes lead in organising everything. A team of faculty is involved to monitor the work. They put up the entire exhibition; decorate the entire college in the theme. “Abhang” marking 25 years of this event. Architect Ashwin and Anjali Lovekar, Pune were the chief guests for the event. The exhibition is visited by many citizens, people from fraternity and parents during the three days. This year the event was marked with a visit by many eminent personalities in the field owing to the 25th year celebration of college. Many guest lectures and expert talks were held during the event which also increased the visitor footfall.
