The visit provided an immersive learning experience, enabling students to understand traditional building practices, settlement patterns, and climate-adaptive strategies through on-site observation and documentation. Protecting vernacular architecture is essential as it represents a rich repository of local knowledge, including climate-responsive design, functional efficiency, and socio-cultural values. This study focuses on assessing and evaluating the spatial organization and climatic response of the vernacular weavers’ settlement in Guledgudda, Bagalkot district, Karnataka.


ARCHITECTURE STUDY TOUR, HYDERABAD

Date : 16–22 JANUARY | 3RD & 4TH YEAR.

The primary aim was to explore high-rise structures, building services in Hotels, and understand the principles of green buildings. Students also studied green facades, terrace and podium landscaping, and the design of public gardens. The tour provided a valuable on-site learning experience, enabling students to observe practical details and real-world applications of architectural concepts.
