Beti Bachao – Beti Padhao campaign at Janata Secondary & Higher Secondary Vidalaya Dubere.

A programme was organised by our college on Beti Bachao – Beti Padhao campaign at Janata Secondary & Higher Secondary Vidalaya Dubere. There were a string of activities held by the students for the students. A skit on the subject “women empowerment “was played at school by our second year B. Des. students. A very meaningful message was given by the skit that the society should help the girl as well as the girl should also empower herself.   A speech on “Beti Bachao beti padhao“subject was also delivered by second-year student Adya Telang. The students from fourth-year Rutuja Kale expressed views on girl child through Hindi songs.At the end, students took out a rally holding banners and placards showing the messages of “ Beti Bachao beti padhao“ .The main objective of the programme was to create awareness among the students about the importance of girl child. There was a huge enthusiasm among the teachers and the students for the programmes. The programme was well appreciated by students and staff.


Environmental impact of plastic-Reduce, repurpose and recycle

The intent was to create an awareness regarding the resources and the ways they are put to use. The students in an interactive way tried to understand their understanding of resource management. The school was proactive and had created a system of waste management which facilitated the dialogue. A poster making completion on the ideas of “Environment Conservation” was held for the students. The students gave an immense response to the competition. Prizes were given for the best posters. Students participated and explained the concept of reduce, recycle and repurpose with an interesting response of ideas from the school students. At the end, students collectively designed a system for the school for management of the resources along with an action plan for implementation to the next level. There was a huge enthusiasm among the teachers and the students for the programmes. The programme was well appreciated by students and staff of the school.

Tree plantation at MVPS’s New Agriculture college, Nashik

M.V.P.S’s College of Architecture,Nashik always take up initiatives for the betterment of society through some eco-friendly activities. This year on the occasion of Independence Day, 15th August, students along with the faculty members took up a tree plantation campaign. Honourable principal madam, HOD madam, Prof. Arpita Bhat, Prof Suruchi Randive along with 2nd and 3rd year B.Arch. and B.Des students planted the trees. Around 50 trees were planted at different locations. The activity was a step towards inculcating environment-friendly approach in the students and paying respect towards the environment.


Blood Donation Camp

A Blood donation camp was organized by our college in collaboration with Dr. Vasantrao Pawar Medical College, Hospital & Research Center. It was an effort to motivate students to come forward and donate for this noble cause. Our College has been religiously organizing blood donation camps every year. Students and the faculty members come forward voluntarily to donate blood. While addressing to the students at the camp our Program In-Charge Prof. Arpita Bhatt brought awareness in them about shortage of blood and why we must donate blood every year, to help the persons requiring blood. Blood donation can save lives of innumerable persons. Donation of blood is very critical and crucial for saving lives many patients and those who have met with accidents.


7TH M.V.P. Athletes Blood Donation Camp

A Blood donation camp was organized by Dr. Vasantrao Pawar Medical College, Hospital & Research Center on occasion of National Sport’s Day & Fit India Movement. It was an effort to motivate students to come forward and donate for this noble cause. Our College has participated in this activity with great enthusiasm.
