A programme was organised by our college on Beti Bachao – Beti Padhao campaign at Karmaveer Adv.Vitthalrao Hande Janata Vidyalaya,Chatori. Number of programmes were organised for students. A skit on the subject “women empowerment“ was played at school by our second year B. arch. students. A very meaningful message was given by the skit that the society should help the girl as well as the girl should also empower herself. A poster making completion on the subject “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao and “Environment Conservation” was held for the students. The students gave an immense response for the competition. The prizes were given for the best posters.At the end, students took out a rally holding banners and placards showing the messages of “Beti Bachao beti padhao“and “Save Environment “.The main objective of the programme was to create awareness among the students about the importance of girl child and environment awareness. There was a huge enthusiasm among the teachers and the students for the programmes. The programme was well appreciated by students and staff of the school.
Workshop conducted for Ganpati idol making

On the occasion of Ganesh Utsav around 25 to 30 students from B.Arch visited ‘Adharashram orphanage’ in Nashik. During the visit students interacted with the orphans of age group 5 to 12 years and taught them the skills of shadu clay Ganpati model making. The activity was conducted in co-ordination with the NGO named Shourya. Motive of the NGO is not to donate money to any orphanage, instead teach them skills to earn money. The philosophy of our institute being “Co-existence with nature”, students opted for shadu clay over plaster of paris. The intension was to bring out the creativity of those orphans through such an eco-friendly activity that will help them to utilize those skills for earning some money. The workshop was a great initiative by the institute towards social responsibility.
Tree plantation at Chunchale, Nashik

In collaboration with Green Revolution group had arranged a tree plantation program to create awareness of planting tree and making city green. The Objectives of this course is to create awareness about planting trees & to make city clean and green. Around 10 students from our college with Prof Shimpi had visited the location & planted trees & saplings.
Blood Donation Camp
A Blood donation camp was organized by our college in collaboration with Dr. Vasantrao Pawar Medical College, Hospital & Research Center. It was an effort to motivate students to come forward and donate for this noble cause. Our College has been religiously organizing blood donation camps every year. Students and the faculty members come forward voluntarily to donate blood. While addressing to the students at the camp our Program In-Charge Prof. Arpita Bhatt brought awareness in them about shortage of blood and why we must donate blood every year, to help the persons requiring blood. Blood donation can save lives of innumerable persons. Donation of blood is very critical and crucial for saving lives many patients and those who have met with accidents.
