Seminar conducted on women’s health and hygiene

A lecture on women’s health & hygiene was conducted by Dr. Manasi. She explained all the causes & precautions regarding menstrual hygiene and health to the girl students. She unfolded the typical issues faced by young girls during the menstrual cycle. This proved quiet helpful to girls speaking about a taboo subject clearly and openly. Dr. Manasi insisted that one should speak up and seek help if anything bothers her. She also suggested that a woman can lead a healthy life by implementing certain practises in her daily routine. She explained these minor routine changes in a simplistic way that appealed to girls and felt applicable.

Mr. Nitin Paranjape, Director, Abhivyakti Media for Development, Nashik started the session with the aim at all round development of the first-year students through personality development. He has brought in Various minute details which help to improve the time management and teamwork skills by assign number of tasks to students and making them involved in the process. Session was planned very interactive that helps students to understand by self-learning. Students were also made aware of the values and ethics those are necessary for grooming their personality in all respect. Session was held for First year students. in lecture hall L5.
