Every year expert guest lecture on the topic of Taxation, Banking and Insurance are identified to value add the course curriculum and provide the practical information to the students. Efforts are taken to call the experts from the field to conduct the lectures. Guest lecture on Taxation, Banking and Insurance was organised on the same lines. The workshop began with presentation by CA Rahul Bajaj sir imparting basic knowledge about the Taxation, Banking and Insurance etc. He also presented the different laws related with this topic. He discussed in detail the do’s and don’ts on this topic. He guided the students on the procedures to deal with this topic and advised the students about the precautions to be taken for this. He answered queries raised by students.

Ar. Ajey Moghe presented the various aspects in designing of swimming pool. He presented on the function of swimming pool, filtration plant and other different allied services at swimming pool. Ar. Ajey Moghe explained the construction process of swimming pool and integration of different services like plumbing, electrical etc. while construction. He responded the queries of students and guided them on this topic.

Architect Rahul Dalvi explained his residential projects through a series of diagrams and process sketches. He emphasised on producing relevant drawings and diagrams to explain the design. He also elaborated on the importance of drawings to get the project and vision correctly executed.

Architect Ravi kanhere explained his architectural practice journey through a series of residential and multifamily residential projects in India and abroad. He emphasised on climate responsive architectural design and exemplified the same through the projects he showed. He elaborated on a complete process of a twin bungalow design and how one can avoid falling into trap of mirroring the same plan by showcasing a very interesting design idea for the same.

He showed the relevance of sketches at every stage of design as a tool to express creative ideas. Students were intrigued by the sketching process as a tool to envision design and see the manifestation of it in drawings and a built project.
