This branch focuses on the design and manufacturing of the different types of furniture. Emphasis is given on the detailing of different forms and elements of furniture, keeping in mind user interface and the process of formal integration at the furniture construction level. For this purpose, workshop skills and general aesthetic sense are enhanced with help of subjects like material and processes, craft documentation, history of furniture design and advanced photography.

An important component of the program is exposure to various levels of the manufacturing industry through field visits and live projects. This enables the students to explore the relationship of furniture elements to interior spaces. Industrial Training is an important part of this course.
