Marathi Rajyabhasha Din

M.V.P.S.’s SP College of Architecture celebrated ‘Marathi Rajbhasha Din’ with great enthusiasm on the occasion of Late Shri. V.V. Shirwadkar (Kusumagraj)’s birth anniversary. To honor the renowned Marathi writer, students organized a special program featuring recitations of his iconic poems. Faculty members shared their experiences with the Marathi language, highlighting its significance and importance, thereby paying tribute to Kusumagraj’s literary legacy.
Annual Sports

The college’s Annual Sports Day was a grand celebration, showcasing the athletic prowess and team spirit of its students. A diverse range of indoor and outdoor sports competitions were meticulously organized, catering to various interests and talents. Students enthusiastically participated in events such as track and field, cricket, badminton, table tennis, and chess, demonstrating their skills, strategy, and sportsmanship. The competitions fostered a sense of camaraderie and healthy rivalry, as students cheered each other on and supported their peers throughout the events. Shivjayanti Ramshej Fort Cleaning

On the birth anniversary of the great Maratha warrior king, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, we were honoured to celebrate the occasion in a unique way that reflected his vision of cleanliness and the well-being of his people.We had organised a Ramshej Fort Cleaning Drive on 19th February 2024. In keeping with this spirit, we not only cleaned the fort but also instilled the values of respect for our historical heritage.Together, we honoured the memory of Shivaji Maharaj by taking practical steps towards a cleaner and more sustainable future.

The event sought to inspire young minds by highlighting the bravery and legacy of the legendary Maratha warrior, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Students showcased their enthusiasm by decorating the institute and actively participating in specially organized activities, paying tribute to the great leader’s ideals and achievements.

Dhikale, hoisting the national flag. The college campus was vibrantly decorated by students, reflecting their patriotic spirit. Vachan Prerna Din

In 2025, MVPS’s SP College of Architecture, Nashik, observed Vachan Prerna Din to commemorate the birthday of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the former President of India and renowned ISRO scientist. Librarian Dhondge Mam highlighted the significance of the day, emphasizing the importance of leveraging library resources to enhance teaching and learning. She introduced the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) system, designed to facilitate easy access to library materials and foster a reading culture among students. The occasion was marked by faculty members and students paying tribute to Dr. Kalam’s legacy, celebrating his contributions to science, education, and nation-building.

The award function was graced by the presence of esteemed guest Mr. Ajay Kulkarni, who inspired students and faculty with his intense research on Ellora caves. The ceremony celebrated the achievements of outstanding students.
Ganesh Chaturthi

The college celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with great fervor, marked by students creating a clay idol of Lord Ganesha using shadu matti. The idol was worshipped for 10 days, with a collective aarti held daily at 10 am, followed by prasad distribution. Each class took turns organizing and providing prasad for the entire college, fostering a sense of unity and shared responsibility. The student council played a pivotal role in coordinating the festivities, ensuring a smooth and joyous celebration. The culmination of the event was marked by the visarjan ceremony, performed with traditional rituals within the college premises on the 10th day.
World Photography Day

In 2025, MVPS’s SP College of Architecture, Nashik, celebrated World Photography Day by organizing a photo walk to explore the scenic beauty of Belgaon Dhaga. Under the guidance of Principal Dr. Prajakta Baste, the theme was introduced to the students, highlighting the significance of photography in capturing life’s moments. Prof. Tushar Kulkarni elaborated on the importance of World Photography Day, inspiring students to hone their photographic skills. Faculty members and students enthusiastically participated in the photo walk, using their lenses to capture the essence and charm of the village, creating lasting memories and artistic expressions.
Independence Day

MVPS’s SP College of Architecture celebrated Independence Day with immense enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. Students from all years creatively decorated the campus with posters and paintings, paying tribute to the unsung heroes of India’s freedom struggle. The day was marked by vibrant cultural performances, including skits and patriotic songs, highlighting significant architectural milestones achieved in the 76 years since independence. Through these events, students commemorated the nation’s journey and celebrated its growth, showcasing their artistic talents and patriotic spirit.
Librarians Day

MVP’s SP College of Architecture, Nashik, marked National Librarian’s Day in honor of S.R. Ranganathan’s birthday, a pioneer in Library and Information Science. Librarian Mrs. Dhondge provided insight into the significance of this day, emphasizing the importance of leveraging library resources to enhance teaching and learning. Principal Dr. Baste, along with faculty members, paid tribute to Ranganathan’s contributions. A book exhibition was inaugurated, featuring a fresh collection of books and magazines, further enriching the college’s library resources. Sharadchandraji Pawar College of Architecture, Nashik, proudly conducted Plastic Collection Week. International Tiger Day

To commemorate International Tiger Day, an awareness program was organized for students and faculty members, focusing on tiger conservation. Renowned expert Mr. Avinash Kumar, Additional Director (Administration) at Chandrapur Forest Academy, delivered an engaging lecture, sharing insights from his recent tiger census experiences and conservation efforts. Through his captivating presentation, students gained valuable knowledge on tiger conservation, sparking their interest and enthusiasm. The lecture provided a unique opportunity for students to learn from a field expert, fostering a deeper understanding of wildlife conservation.
