Independence Day celebration

15th Aug 2021

This year students and faculty members in the institute celebrated India’s 74nd Independence Day with great enthusiasm and passion. Honorable Principal, Dr.Prajakta Baste madam hoisted the Indian flag in the campus in presence of all the faculties and non teaching staff members. National Anthem song was sung to salute and honor the Indian flag at the solemn occasion. Student committee had organized a cultural programme in online mode in view of covid pandemic. The programme was enjoyed and appreciated by faculty members in the institute.


International Women’s Day celebration

08th March 2022

International Women’s day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in the institute’s campus. Students arranged a small programme with cake cutting in the atrium where they also felicitated all teaching and non teaching women faculty members. Women faculty members shared their feeling of pride of being a woman.


Shiv Jayanti celebration

19th Feb 2022

Almost after a long span of 2 years post pandemic, Shiv Jayanti was celebrated with enthusiasm in the institute by the students. The campus was decorated by a beautiful rangoli at the entrance, flags were waving all over and Students were dressed in traditional maharashtrian attires.  Celebration included Plays on Life of Shivaji  Maharaj right from his Birth to the Battle of Pratapgad.  Famous Powada; “Maharajanchi kirti befam” was sung and performed by the students. The air was filled with slogans of Chatrapathi Sivaji Maharaj; his Glory & Praises for him.


Celebration of Mahatma Gandhi & Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti

On 2nd of October, students arranged a programme in remembrance of Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi and Man of peace Lal Bahadur Shastri via online mode. A guest lecture was also organized on Sustainable Living by Mr. Tejas Talware. At the end of the session a poster making competition was conducted for the students.


International Tiger Day celebration

29th July 2021

International Tiger Day was celebrated on 29July to raise awareness among all students and teaching members about conservation of tigers. Guest speaker Mrs. Manisha Jadhav mam is forest range officer at Tadoba – Andhari forest reserve. She also explained why it is important to conserve the forest and all wildlife animals. The initiatives taken by the forest department for this cause, how her journey started as forest officer and she highlighted the tourism of Tadoba and how everyone can contribute to this noble cause.


Marathi Rajbhasha Din celebration

07th March 2022

On the occasion of Late Shri. V.V. Shirwadkar (Kusumagraj) Janmadin, the renowned Marathi writer, ‘Marathi Rajbhasha Din’ was celebrated with great enthusiasm in M.V.P.S. ‘s College of Architecture. Students arranged a small programme in remembrance of Kusumagraj. Students recited their famous poems. Faculty members also shared their experience of using Marathi language along with the importance of language.


National Library Day celebration

This year in 2021, Faculty members in MVPS’s College of Architecture, Nashik celebrated National Library Day in memory of birthday of Mr. S.R. Ranganathan, the man who had a lot of contributions in the field of  Library and Information Science. Librarian mam explained the background for celebration of day, and importance of using library resources effectively for teaching and learning process. Principal Dr. Baste madam along with other faculty  members paid tribute to the  Mr. S.R. Ranganathan.


Republic Day celebration

On 26 January 2022, MVP college of Architecture &, Nashik witnessed 73 th Republic day celebration at college campus. The programme started with hoisting of the national flag by the Sanstha Representative of Nashik district. All the faculty members paid tribute to the national flag.


World Photography Day celebration

A photo walk was organized on the occasion of world photography day. Honorable Principal, Dr.Prajakta Baste madam introduced the theme for the photo walk to the students followed by guidance and importance of World photography day explained by prof. Tushar Kulkarni. Students along with faculty members participated in this walk in the neighborhood of the institute’s campus.


International Yoga Day celebration

21st June 2021

International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21stJune to bring peace, harmony, happiness and success to every soul in the world. With an intention to promote healthy lifestyle the institution organized yoga sessions in online mode, conducted by Yoga professional, Ar. Shweta Chandak Daga.  All faculty members actively participated in the event and enjoyed the whole process through online mode. They were also guided on the importance of yoga as a mental, physical and spiritual practice that needs to be carried every day.


‘Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj’ Samaj Din Celebration

‘Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj’ is one of the premier educational institutions in Maharashtra. 19th August, the birth anniversary of Late  Raosaheb Thorat is celebrated as Samaj day in all the institutions of the M.V.P.samaj to pay tribute to these great contributors. Dr. Prajakta Baste hoisted the flag and talked about the history behind the M.V.P. Samaj establishment and the work of the great contributors to uplift the same during these 100  years.
